Step 5: Send a Connection Request

Caught your interest? Send them a connection request directly from their profile page. The request reaches them as an instant notification, and they can accept or decline. If accepted, a private conversation opens between you immediately — no intermediary or long wait.

If you try to send a request to someone you already have a previous request with (accepted or pending), we'll let you know clearly instead of showing a confusing error message — all the details of your requests' status (sent and received) are clear and easy to track from the "Requests" screen.

Step 6: Get to Know Each Other Seriously and Safely

Once the conversation opens, you can communicate via unlimited text messages. If you'd like to exchange photos or videos, this feature is available to everyone for sending — but viewing sent photos and videos is protected by an additional privacy layer for Premium subscribers, to ensure greater seriousness and safety when sharing sensitive content.

There are also features you can activate to deepen trust between you:

• Identity verification: a verification selfie that proves the profile is 100% real
• Viewing financial & housing status: available to Premium subscribers after building a real connection
• Instant reporting: if you feel any behavior is concerning, you can report directly from within the conversation and our team reviews the report quickly
