Step 3: Set Your Preferences Precisely

Instead of browsing hundreds of profiles randomly, Wasal lets you specify exactly what you're looking for in a life partner:

• Age range: the age bracket that suits you
• Religion & sect: a non-negotiable requirement for many members
• Minimum acceptable religiosity level: set the baseline you're comfortable with
• Education: your preferred education level for a life partner
• Residency type: abroad, back home, or open to either (details on the "Diaspora Bridge" concept are here)

These preferences aren't just a simple filter — they're the foundation the entire compatibility algorithm is built on, in the next step.

Step 4: Discover Compatible Profiles

On the Discover screen, you won't see every member equally — you'll see only profiles that match your preferences, ranked by a real compatibility score calculated for each member based on:

• How well religion and sect match
• How close their religiosity level is to your preference
• Age difference
• Residency-type compatibility (Diaspora Bridge)
• Geographic location

There's no "black box" here — the goal is for you to understand why a particular person appeared to you, and trust that every profile you see is actually worth your time.
