Wasal hasn't reached a "final version" — and never truly will in the literal sense. We're in an active, ongoing development phase, adding new features, reviewing every small detail based on real usage, and fixing any issue we notice as soon as we spot it. This approach is deliberate: a platform tied to a decision as significant as marriage has to keep evolving, not freeze on a first version and be left alone.
Every piece of feedback from our early users — whether about a technical bug, a feature suggestion, or even a simple comment about the user experience — feeds directly into our development process. For example, many of the fine-grained decisions in the compatibility algorithm and how results are displayed came from real feedback where we noticed a gap between what we designed and what the user actually needed.
Right now, our main focus is preparing Wasal for official launch on the app stores — this includes full compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play standards (including child safety standards), improving the reporting and moderation system, and building out support infrastructure (FAQ, a support ticketing system, clear policies). All of this happens alongside continuous improvements to the core user experience.
However much the features evolve or the design changes, the core goal has stayed fixed since the very first moment we thought of Wasal: to help you find a real life partner, in a way that respects your faith, your values, and your time. Every technical or design decision we make, we measure against one standard: does this bring us closer to that goal, or further from it?
